Credit card will be real bliss if one does not have to pay interest on the same. The easiest technique for credit card users to avoid incurring interest is to pay their balance in full and on time every month. By following this, one can not only avoids the higher penalty interest rates but also maintains a high credit score. Customer with high credit score always receives bank’s most favorable interest rates.

But if the user is unable to repay the monthly bills there is another ways to save interest charges which are as follows:

1. With help of 0% credit card one can control their credit card charges While looking around for suitable credit card offering 0% interest one should consider certain points:

Tenure for 0% interest rate ( In today¡¦s competitive banking environment many providers are offering 0% interest rate for the promotional periods from 12 to 24 months in length)

Does the provider allow for the transfer of other balances to 0% interest rate? If yes what are the charges

Any penalties for late payments: One should make at least the minimum repayments to avoid penalties.

Customer should read the important information in the Cardholder agreement to find the actual (hidden) cost of using that particular credit card.

One should calculate the fund needed to clear the balance within promotional period. If there is any delay in repayment of debt and the rate rockets.

2. To take the at most benefit of 0% interest rate offer customer can transfer their outstanding balance from high interest rate credit cards to it. This facilitates saving on the cost of interest. There are many providers who offer 0% on transfer balance. But one should think twice before opting for the same. As they usually will fly to enormous rates after the term has lapsed. One has to be prepared to pay the card off and cancel it by the end of the term to protect oneself from another high interest trap. If one still has not repaid the debt when the promotional period lapses, shift it again.

3. To negotiate with the credit card provider for the lower interest rate: There are always benefits for valued customers. Most of the times credit card providers are ready to reduce the interest rate if one meets most or all of the following conditions:

Customer has good credit rating

Excellent payment record with particular credit provider

Customer who does not have high debt-to-income ratio

Credit card providers need business and often have customer retention programs which reduce interest rates upon request. Often they will comply especially if one mentions that he is considering switching with other Credit card provider.

4. If one is facing problems paying off credit card debts, the person should call the credit card company and explain the situation to them thoroughly and they may be able to help. They may offer lower rate or reduced monthly payments for a short term.

5. Consolidate credit card debts to low interest credit cards: Holding multiple cards is difficult to manage. Its always advisable to transfer balance from higher interest cards to lower one.

In short, do it smartly and credit cards are the cheapest way to borrow.

In the days before the computer, used to have to apply for credit cards in person at banks and retail establishments or regular mail. Today, the Internet opens many doors for people, including the application for a credit card instant approval online. Even if computers are intimidating, you’ll find it quick and easy to apply online. Online applications are relatively simple, easy to use and require little information.

If you find instant approval credit card using the major search engines or you receive an offer via e-mail or postal services, you must first get to the website of instant approval credit cards. Once there, most card companies keep it simple, guiding you through the entire process, which is
incredibly short. In fact, you can find areas on the Internet that provide an easy way for you to compare similar card offers. Use this feature to your advantage, ensuring that you get the best instant approval credit cards available before the application.

Easy to complete

Once you’ve narrowed down and selected one out of hundreds of credit cards instant approval, the rest is easy. You simply provide basic information – name, address, phone number and place of employment and social security number. You might also be asked a previous address if you lived in your present home for a short period. Sometimes, the instant credit card approval will ask for the number of years that you worked, as well as your gross monthly household income. And finally, your social security number is necessary for the credit card company or bank to check your credit report. Credit card issuers base their approval on the credit report and your FICO score.

Before pushing the ”Submit” button, make sure you read all terms and conditions of the paper. You would not want to unnecessarily have an inquiry on your credit report, as this can lower your FICO score and inhibit you decide to ask if other credit cards instant approval.

Fast approvals made:

If you have completed all the necessary information and have good credit, then there is not much left to do for you. You can expect instant approval credit card. Notification will be processed within 30 seconds or a couple of minutes either through the website or sent via e-mail.
If you do not have good credit or you are not sure where you stand, then apply for a credit card online instant approval can not be that simple. The application may be rejected. If this is the case, then talk to a representative of a credit card to find out why. They may be able to offer assistance that could lead you to get instant approval credit card after all. It does not hurt to ask.

People with problematic credit ratings often suffer unfairly from high mortgage, insurance, and the number of car loan. In addition, they have difficulties to accept credit cards. The whole situation can be very frustrating. I often get emails from consumers asking what they can do to restore your credit. The first thing I tell them to get a credit card designed for people with bad credit. The second thing I tell them iswritten bold: read the fine print.

There are only a limited number of credit cards for people with bad credit. At first glance, many of the same. All help build and rebuild your credit by credit reporting agencies on a monthly basis. They offer all Visa or Mastercard, you need to make many purchases. And they’re a necessary evil that we have thousands of dollars in loans and car loan rates in the future. However, you should read FinePrint, before the Commission for these credit cards, as they often charge high annual fees, setup, or even a month. Here I expect to bury a few examples of current expenditure Bad Credit Credit Card S in the fine print. Of the three large maps, analyze it, just a consumer.

Bad Credit Credit Card # 1:

This is a payment by credit card very low interest rate unsecured credit card. Shows, however, your first view of the fine print, that is AOne single activation fee of $ 29. Not bad. As for the upcoming tax one-time fee of $ 95. So far, there may be up to $ 124 in costs. It should be, right? None of the other $ 48 annual fee and $ 6 per month fee account management to add. That brings the cost of your new credit card $ 244 for the first year and $ 120 each additional year. It’s not small change, and maps, as it should be considered only when it was granted for an unsecured credit card credit bestbad.

Bad Credit Credit Card # 2:

Credit cards are very high interest rates for credit cards is not guaranteed. This may not be good. But this one-time fee only $ 29. Maybe this card is not so bad. It ‘S annoying monthly fee $ 6.50 per month cost of this credit card unsecured port 107. Maybe we could find a lot. Not very much. Annual fee of $ 150 is huge. Yes, $ 150 a year. This not only brings the cost up to $ 257, butalso to pay $ 228 a year to get a credit card only. There should be more effectively addressed.

Bad Credit Credit Card # 3:

This credit card issuer are available as both secured and unsecured credit cards based on a review of your credit history. Average interest rate, even competitive. Now the fine print shows that there is a one-time setup fees. But, on the basis of the claim, payment may be $ 0 or $ 49 at the level may be. So far so good, especially if the loan is not thatevil. But it must be a huge annual fee. Not at all. The annual fee for a credit card guarantee only $ 35, and an unsecured credit card, this fee may be $ 39 or $ 79 are on the rise. While the rate is sufficient for this card from $ 35 to $ hundred and twenty-eighth Now it’s time for a monthly service fee. This should be huge. Or not. Its $ 0 That is, the most you will pay, if possible, this can credit card $ 128, about half what competitors charge cards.

Only the business using the scoring knows what might improve your score … Continue reading

Credit scoring systems are complex and vary among creditors or insurance companies and for different types of credit or insurance. If one factor changes, your score may change — but improvement generally depends on how that factor relates to others the system considers. Only the business using the scoring knows what might improve your score under the particular model they use to evaluate your application.

Nevertheless, scoring models usually consider the following types of information in your credit report to help compute your credit score:

Have you paid your bills on time? You can count on payment history to be a significant factor. If your credit report indicates that you have paid bills late, had an account referred to collections, or declared bankruptcy, it is likely to affect your score negatively.
Are you maxed out? Many scoring systems evaluate the amount of debt you have compared to your credit limits. If the amount you owe is close to your credit limit, it’s likely to have a negative effect on your score.
How long have you had credit? Generally, scoring systems consider the length of your credit track record. An insufficient credit history may affect your score negatively, but factors like timely payments and low balances can offset that.
Have you applied for new credit lately? Many scoring systems consider whether you have applied for credit recently by looking at “inquiries” on your credit report. If you have applied for too many new accounts recently, it could have a negative effect on your score. Every inquiry isn’t counted: for example, inquiries by creditors who are monitoring your account or looking at credit reports to make “prescreened” credit offers are not considered liabilities.
How many credit accounts do you have and what kinds of accounts are they? Although it is generally considered a plus to have established credit accounts, too many credit card accounts may have a negative effect on your score. In addition, many scoring systems consider the type of credit accounts you have. For example, under some scoring models, loans from finance companies may have a negative effect on your credit score.
Scoring models may be based on more than the information in your credit report. When you are applying for a mortgage loan, for example, the system may consider the amount of your down payment, your total debt, and your income, among other things.

Improving your score significantly is likely to take some time, but it can be done. To improve your credit score under most systems, focus on paying your bills in a timely way, paying down any outstanding balances, and staying away from new debt.

And since Venture miles aren’t restricted to a single airline, or even restricted to airfare, you can use these extra miles to pay for any travel expenses you have coming up. That means flights on other airlines, hotel stays, rental cars, or any other travel-specific expenses.

How does it work?

Apply for a Venture Rewards card before May 13, 2011, and wait for an email from CapOne with further instructions.

Register your account online and submit proof of any airline miles you’ve earned on oneother airline credit card. You’re going to want to ACT FAST, because the statement has to be sent within 45 days, and they’re capping the total payout at a billion miles.

Spend $1,000 within the first 90 days of opening the account, and those miles are yours.

Combine this with other offers for the big-time free money

If you’ve recently earned 50,000 bonus miles with a Continental OnePass Plus, or if you were lucky enough to score 75,000 miles with AAdvantage, then this new offer will be especially powerful.

I, for one, just got credited 80k miles from Citibank for the AA card, so I am eligible to earn an additional 80k Venture miles thanks to CapOne…

Worried that it’s too good to be true?

Follow my application progress. So far Capital One has been great with the email feedback, and everything has been approved!

With so many credit cards out there, you can be left overwhelmed and confused with no idea which one would be best for you. It obviously helps if you know what you’re looking for so that’s what we want to help you to do, in this case specifically in the area of finding the best balance transfer deal.

What is a Balance Transfer Card?

A balance transfer card allows you to transfer a balance (or debt) from another place over to it and usually offers you a good interest rate for an introductory period on the balance transferred. The benefit of this is that if you’ve got an outstanding balance on a high interest rate card and are paying a fortune in interest, you can get a break and make some headway by enjoying a 0% or low interest rate for a period of time once you’ve transferred the balance. Of course there are different balance transfer rates and periods so not every card is as good as the next.

How do You Choose a Good One?

With so many different cards offering a balance transfer facility, it can be tricky and time consuming to settle on one. Here are some tips to help narrow down the field.

Your Balance

The main issue in picking a balance transfer card that suits you is the size of the balance you’re going to transfer and how fast you can pay it off. If you’ve got a small debt and can pay it off in 3 months for example, then a 0% balance transfer offer for a period of 3 months will suit you well. You’ll pay nothing on interest, every penny will go toward getting your debt down and you’ll be done by the time the 3 months is up.

If you’ve got a much larger balance and it will take you say, a year or more to pay off, a 0% balance transfer rate for 3 months won’t do you much good at all because you’ll then revert back to a high interest rate, which will make it difficult to continue to make headway. In this case, you’d be better off with a low balance transfer rate for 12 months giving you a reasonably low rate (much better than 20%!) for a longer period. This will minimise the amount of interest you pay on that debt and give you the extra time you need to pay it off.

So the first thing you need to do is figure out what sort of figures and time frames will work best for the balance you’re wanting to transfer. Find some cards that offer what you’re looking for and then hone in on the comparison from there.

Choosing a Credit Card

Another important factor to consider as you choose your card is what kind of credit card user you are. Are you a debtor, always carrying your balance over and usually just making minimum repayments and paying the interest, a transactor, or a frequent flyer who is a stickler for paying off your balance each month to avoid the interest? The way you use your credit card will need to play a big part in the choice of credit card you make.

If you’re a debtor, you’ll want a card with the lowest ongoing purchase rate possible, if you’re a transactor, you can get away with a higher interest rate card that may have other features you can benefit from, such as a rewards program. A suggestion we would make here is this: If you’re a debtor, become a transactor! You will save yourself and thank yourself in the long run!

Other Features

So by now you’ve determined what kind of balance transfer rate and period you’re looking for and what kind of credit card user you are (and therefore what kinds of interest rates would be sensible to go with).

Next you want to look at things like:

Annual fees

Interest free days

CANNEX Star ratings or equivalent ratings

Rewards/frequent flyer programs

Extra features like 24 hour emergency services, insurances, additional cardholders, etc.

Maximum credit limit

Credit card provider

Again, what you’re looking for will be determined by you, your spending habits, your preferences and your lifestyle.

Annual Fees

In terms of annual fees, you always want to make sure that they’re worth your while in that you’ll get more than what you pay in fees out of the card. Otherwise the fee negates the purpose of having the card and costs you rather than helps you.

Interest Free Days

In terms of interest free days, you’ll need to be aware of what suits you and make sure your card caters for what you need (longer or shorter interest free period). If you’re organised, spending within your means, on top of repayments etc. (a transactor), the shorter period could well be fine for you.

CANNEX Star or Equivalent Ratings

CANSTAR CANNEX star ratings are a consumer-friendly benchmark that help you compare financial products based on their rates and features. CANSTAR evaluate literally thousands of products from hundreds of finance institutions using a sophisticated ratings methodology, which is under constant review by their financial analysts to ensure its accuracy and validity in the current market. This is a good way to get a feel for what the experts think of the card you’re considering.

Rewards Programs

In terms of rewards programs, you’ll want to ask yourself whether you actually need it or can benefit from it. Keep in mind that to benefit from a rewards program you usually need to spend a lot. If you’re a small spender, you probably won’t earn enough points to really get you much. Always read the terms and conditions of the rewards program. Check if it’s free, what the points earn rate is, what the real value of a point is, whether points are capped or expire, what you can redeem points for, etc. Don’t sign up for a card with a rewards program unless you’ve done the maths and actually know you’ll get something decent out of it.

Extra Features

A lot of extra features like 24 hour concierge services, insurances, additional cardholders at no extra cost are only available on higher level cards. Again you need to evaluate what your income, spending and needs are and what you will benefit most from. There’s no point having extra features you can’t realistically benefit from!

Maximum Credit Limit

What is the maximum credit limit you can get? Does it suit your needs? Remember higher is not always better, especially if you can’t control your spending. Limits are set in place to protect you from spending more that you’re able to repay. Just make sure your credit limit meets your needs and spending (and ability to repay).

Credit Card Provider

You want to choose a card from a reputable, accessible provider with good customer service. Look up some reviews online. Don’t just pick the bank you’re with but be open to great deals with other providers that might even be better than what your bank has to offer. Remember, not all the banks are equal – some banks are better at balance transfers.

Putting it All Together…

So by now you’re getting a bit of a profile together of the type of card that would best suit you and you’re thereby narrowing your search. You’ve now got the data to select the options you want.

We’ve got two tools that can help you narrow your search from here. The first is our search tool, which you’ll find on the left hand side of the home page and any category page. Enter in what you’re after and we’ll bring up the cards that best match your search. It’s then your turn to browse and look at the finer details of each card to pick the card with the best balance transfer deal and overall benefits for you! Secondly, if there’s a card you really like you can always pop it into Beat My Card, a unique tool to help you find the card that will save you the most money based on your spending profile.

For an even more in depth advice, visit the Credit Card Compare Learning Center where you’ll find our mammoth balance transfer guide.

Remember to prioritise the features that you’re looking for. In this case a good balance transfer deal that suits your needs is number one. Keep in mind that you can’t usually transfer a balance from one card to another within the same bank and that missed or late payments may cause you to lose that great balance transfer deal you worked so hard to get!

Happy hunting and we hope you find a great balance transfer card that will help you get your debt down fast! Debt free is where you want to be!
